I’ll be honest: I’ve found most Star Wars media since being purchased by Disney to be hit or miss. Some of it I find quite good. Some of it not so much. The Mandalorian on Disney+ has thankfully been one that I find quite good. It’s different enough from other Star Wars media to stand out from the rest, but it’s similar enough to be instantly recognizable as “Star Wars”. The finished product is impressive. Every curve, every contour, and every detail of the Mandalorian’s helmet is faithfully replicated. The entire model stays true to its on-screen counterpart. The iconic T-shaped visor is a matte black finish, while the beskar helmet is varying shades of gray.
The size of the helmet is what you’d expect from this series. Standing at about 8 inches in height, the finished model is small but captures Mando’s imposing presence. This piece would go well with other LEGO® Star Wars Helmet collection pieces, or as a display piece by itself. It’s that good.
